Quite self indulgent

We always get like hc and such for how it would be you meeting their parents but, how about them meeting your dad.

I do think he’d be so good about this honestly. He would definitely have anything you need on hand because he does the share thing for your tracking app so he knows when you’re about to start. He checks to make sure you have enough pads or tampons, if not he goes and gets more. Idk if he’d know to boil a diva cup or not honestly. Or what a diva cup is.

He makes sure to get the heating pad out from the bathroom cabinet, along with the midol/tylenol/ibuprofen. Definitely some other meds depending on what you typically have complained about during past cycles. As for the sore boobs thing, he knows the swell a bit when you’re on your cycle. He’s a man, he looks at them all the time. He can tell. He definitely has you put the heating pad on them because he read online that it’d help give you some sort of relief if the pain meds for cramps haven’t helped with that as well. He’d also remind you that he read that sports bras helped because of the support some of them have.

He for sure keeps dark chocolate on hand because one, he thinks it’s better and two, it helps ease cramps up. And it also helps keep you from being bloated too which is a plus. He wants to make sure his baby is as comfortable as they can be. He also knows you get a little bit warmer body temp wise when you’re on your cycle so he turns the ac up a bit so the house stays cooler. And no he does not give a flying fuck if you bleed through onto the sheets. He is a grown man. He is telling you to go shower while he cleans up and changes the sheets. He has taken care of you while you were SICK sick before so this is light work to him now.

Looking for some books to help pass the time while you’re stuck inside? Young Writer’s Program participant Mahreema J. has you covered! Here are ten novels to read while you shelter in place:

Ok, so I’ll be honest. I LOVE it when my friends and classmates come up to me for a book recommendation! Its just the best feeling to know, that someone can trust your book taste, and trust you in what they are about to spend hours reading. No pressure!

So, you can imagine how ecstatic I am, right now, to tell you my book recommendations. I’ll admit, I have a super long TBR (To Be Read) pile, and some of them I know are amazing already (by reviews, teasers, blurbs, recommendations) and they are included here. The obvious books that have probably already been read by you were not included, so you see new books. 

So here are the books that I definitely recommend you check out! I also put in some books written by super talented young writers as well:

1. Alex Rider by Anthony Horowitz (My Favorite!)

Obviously we all have different tastes, but after viewing/reading these books, I hope you find another book that you like from it.
